On Separating Shops

Today was spent dividing my Etsy shop in two: Supplies/Vintage and Handcrafted.

It was a difficult choice as I have spent the past several years cultivating a customer base. I was unhappy my shop and url names didn't match. My original shop was cluttered and confusing. A separation would provide a focus to improve my shopper's experience. After debating the pros and cons, I realized it was the right business decision.

So, without further ado, please visit my etsy shops and let me know what you think!

  1. I'm struggling with the same decision. You made the right choice. Shops are lovely.

  2. I've been wondering if I should do this for ages. I haven't because I've been kind of worried one might do better than the other. That might discourage me from working on the one not doing so well. I've discussed it a lot with my other half who thinks that splitting is a good idea but I haven't made up my mind. :(
