Chan Luu Scarves

My favorite accessory is the scarf. I love the multitude of colors, fibers and textures. Whether it is a handmade wool scarf in the winter, a cool cotton scarf in the spring, a breezy linen one in the summer or a silk shawl in the fall, scarves are versatile accessories. A scarf can make an outfit boho, casual, chic or elegant.

I wish I could afford a Chan Luu scarf. Made of silk and cashmere, Chan Luu scarves are feminine and luxurious. The scarves are stories based on nature and world cultures. I would love to have one in my wardrobe.

Do you love scarves but you are not sure how to wear them? Here are 7 Ways to Wear a Scarf by MichellePhan:

Etsy Finds: Starla Pins

My hair needs to be styled. It is unmanageable because I have not had time for a haircut and I am growing it out for the wedding. I usually wear it in a bun or a ponytail.

I am excited to wear an understated updo for the wedding. This is a chance to pamper myself, and I cannot wait for Matt to see me elegantly dressed.

These Starla Pins would be a dreamy addition to my accessories.

The pins may get lost under a veil, but I would take that off for the reception anyway.

Etsy Finds: Starlette Crown

Many bloggers have featured the Starlette Crown by Sue Eggen of Giant Dwarf on their blogs, and just like them I find the starry crown simply enchanting.

Made with German glass glitter, silk ribbon, and felt, the celestial band adds fairy tale charm to any occasion.

Etsy Finds: Bangles

I am partial to accessorizing with bracelets, rings and earrings. Although I prefer silver-tones I like the softness of the matted gold of these bangles. The organic hammered detail of the Reed Thin Bangles by BrooklynArts is the perfect bohemian accessory.

BrooklynArts also has a set of Rose Gold Bangles for a similar look.

Etsy Finds: Messenger Bags

I am a proud laptop user. I bought my first laptop in 2000, a HP Pavilon. In 2005 I switched to Mac with a 12" Powerbook. Two years ago I bought a 13" MacBook Pro and the poor dear needs a home. I am considering these messenger bags on Etsy.

All of the bags cost over $100, but they are handmade and durable. A girl can dream.
