I went to Ludington with my boyfriend and I returned with my fiancé.
On Saturday evening Matt, my best friend for over five-and-a-half years, took me to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan.
He got down on one knee (in the wet sand) and told me, "I imagined a life without you, but I didn't like what I saw." He then asked me for my hand.
Of course I said yes!
After we played in the sand we warmed ourselves with tea.
